The New Inflator

Secumar are known for their innovation and for the highest quality, so it should be no surprise to find their inflation systems have great originality.

In 2005 that means the phasing in, across nearly their entire range, of the Secumatic 4001S inflator.
Previously this innovative inflator system had been standard only on the premium lifejackets.

The philosophy behind this innovation is simple:
"the more easily a product can be understood and the easier it is to use, the quicker it is accepted by its users - and the more effective it can be."

How It Works...

Secumar have adopted a simple Yes/No principle with the 4001S Inflator.

When the Green indicator is visible, the lifejacket is fully operational.

When the Red indicator is showing, the lifejacket must be re-armed before taking to the seas.

Double Protection

In keeping with the innovation theme - try a double skin buoyancy chamber.

The Duo Protect concept was developed for members of the DGzRS - the German equivalent of the RNLI.

Available in the top-of-the-line Duo Protect 275 for adults, and both the Duo Protect Mini and Duo Protect Junior for your children.

The philosophy behind this innovation is simple:
"if, for example, the buoyancy chamber snags and is punctured by a hook or sharp object in an emergency situation, the lifejacket is not rendered useless. Even if the outer layer has been pierced, the gas inflating the buoyancy chamber pushes the flexible inner wall right up against the hole thus sealing the leak again."
